Antique Copper Sugar Pan, made in France.
No name on it.
Found a French flea market.
Diameter of 15 cm or 6 inches approximately. 10 cm tall or 4 inches.
Weighs 700 grams Approximately.
Unlined.
The pan is made with copper rivets.
Spout is the traditional pout shape with pounded surface for easy pouring.
Made for cooking candies and preserves.
The handle is open for a wooden handle which was usually several feet long.
At one time it was necessary for cooking over a wood fire.
There are scratches and minor bumps on the outside of the pot.
The inside is not tinned but copper.
It has loads of marks and a few bumps on the edge and surface.
It is Well used.
