One pair of brass Antique 1920s large Classical French Curtain Tiebacks or curtain pole mounts made in France

One pair of large brass Antique 1900s French Classical Curtain Tiebacks or curtain pole mounts.
It stands out from the wall for 12 cm or 4 3/4 inches.
These pair work by sliding on to a spike which is driven into the wall.
The wall should be mounted on stone or cinderblock. Plasterboard will not work that well.
I have shown a photo where the spike is on the sleeve.
Quality pair.
These could also be used to mount a curtain rod on with two screw in nails to mount poles.
