Small Sized Copper and Porcelain Double Boiler Marie Bain, made by Mauviel which is printed on the side. Says also made in France.
APILCO on porcelain.
Says made in France in the edge but no maker.
Used but still in good condition. Some wear.
Hammered bottom copper pot on bottom to boil water for using Bain-Marie.
Can be used as sauce pan separately from porcelain pot. Tin lined.
The tin lining has some scratches and wear marks.
Porcelain pot with copper ring and brass handle. Stamped with APILCO.
Together with porcelain pot on top of copper pot stands 6 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches across or 16 cm tall by 13.4 cm at top across.
Weighs altogether 2 kilos.
The copper pot by itself measures 4 3/4 inches across or 9.5 cm in diameter and 4 inches or 10 cm tall.
And weighs just over 600 grams.
Bronze handles with copper rivets. No play in rivets.
Handles measure just 4 3/4 inches long or 12 cm approximately.
There are scratches on the copper from use.
